ShenWest Summer Wine Club
Hosted by Sonnay Alvarez every other Monday, 7–8pm at Jullion Park picnic tables
Let’s sip some wine and meet the neighbors! This is a casual wine club open to anyone in the neighborhood who wants to connect, try something new, and enjoy summer evenings in the park. Please fill out the form below if you’d like to join the ShenWest Summer Wine Club to receive RSVPs for each event.
Each meet-up includes a tasting flight—typically 2 oz pours of a few different wines. Exact pours may vary depending on how many bottles are shared that night, but there will always be something in your glass and something fun to talk about. While we taste, we’ll also do a light activity—something casual like group prompts, wine-themed conversation cards, or mini challenges to help break the ice and learn a little. After the tasting, we can sip through the wine while we mingle!
I plan to bring wine to each event to make sure there’s always a solid flight to taste—but I’d love if others want to contribute a bottle, too. If you’ve got a bottle laying around that you’d like to share, bring it! No need to go out and spend extra money.
