Many people have asked what happens if a complaint is brought to the SWNA Board. First the complaint must come to the Board in writing and the name of the complaining persons name must be attached. The name will not be advertised but there needs to be a name attached to each complaint. The process then looks like this:

  1. The complaint is discussed to check the validity and to determine if in fact it is a violation of our CC&Rs, or is it an issue for another entity like the police.
  2. If it is determined a valid complaint a letter is sent to the violator from the board.
  3. If nothing is heard back or the issue remains unresolved a second letter is sent, from the president.
  4. If still nothing changes the third communication will come directly from our attorney, and the legal process will start.
